Re: Restored Vent Windows

Roger, looking for a black set,
Have a 70.

I have a chrome set and black set,
Can you put the soft ray from the chrome in the black, or do you put new glass in?
Thanks
Ed

I'm working on black set with new tinted glass. Glass is the same for either black or chrome. So i can switch them.

How much is the one you are working on compared to me sending you cores?
Or would you still want cores?

You save $50.00 if I restore yours and I can use cores.

Thanks Roger. The man that was asking me if I knew where to look for a set has ghosted. Sorry for the false alarm.

Re: Restored Vent Windows

Roger, do you have a chrome set with tinted glass? If so price? Also, I assume that Blazers use the same vent windows as trucks? Last question, if I sent you my vent windows, what would price be to restore them and how long would you have them?
Thanks, Tim

I charge $485.00 to do yours and $535.00 outright. I have no chrome vent windows completed at this time. I have 10 sets at the chrome platters and hope to have them back in about 3 weeks. Yes both blazers and trucks use the same vent window.

Thanks

Re: Restored Vent Windows

Roger, my '72 K20 has been painted and is being re-assembled. I was at the body shop and with everything else nice & fresh, my vent windows are looking a bit sad. They are chrome and are OEM to the truck, which I have owned since 1977. Anyway I'm interested in getting them restored. Right now they are filthy from sitting around the body shop for so long. I can clean them up & ship them to you if you have time for them. Thanks!
