and here is what the new(ish) 2010 Lexus GS450h transmotor (as we are calling it cause it has two electric motors inside) weighs in at

and here's what the new Lexus GS450h unmodified (will need the rear U joint replaced for a GM style one) drive shaft weighs

and here is what the Inverter weighs (the inverter translated Direct Current from the battery pack to Alternating Current for the motors, these are AC motors inside that transmission)

think of the Inverter as a Carburetor / Distributor combo

and then we took the ol' engine out for a baff

then we spent 6.5 hours with the pressure washer

first 5 of which were spent figuring out why there was nothing coming out of her at all, and then fixing her [I'm looking at you "unloader valve"]

this is after the first pass just with plain water (no soap... yet)

and gentlemen I have tried everything over the last 30 plus years, from Simple Purple Green Power this to orange peel that and oven cleaners and all that jazz and nothing works better than good ol' dish soap, and it's FREE

then I spent an hour getting gas, cause we are now a household of three with exactly 2.5 vehicles at the moment

and well, what do you know? we got part numeros (them numbers confirm it's a crate motor and not one from 1971) and I think there's a date code on the other side

I'm a little surprised you're going to have more weight than that 350 boat anchor if you try to add enough range to get out of town and back.

I'm waiting on permitting and some other buildng projects before i build a nice solar array to fuel an electric vehicle of some sort.something along the lines of the white zombie electric car would be cool

so I finally decided to put my big boy pants on and hang the driver side door on properly, so I removed the front fender and noticed this bracket had a funky bend to it, I wonder if that had something to do with me not being able to align that door properly, I don't know, we shall see

the top pic is the bad diver side, the bottom is the good passenger side
