Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5
I think these people are just telling everyone what they want to hear! Look at the demand for these wheels, they sold out in a matter of days. If they can sell these to people who know they wont fit but still buy them, why would they change them? They are out to make money, not spend it on re-tooling one wheel. Boss has a pretty big line of wheels and they sell them at a very reasonable price, i dont see them fixing any problems as long as they are selling! Fitting right or not. If you go back through this thread, there are several people in contact with the producer of these wheels, and everyone of them has a different answer to the same question, they are just telling you what you want to hear, same with the wheel dealers, just trying to make money! IMOP, if you want these wheels, your just going to have to buy them and make them fit your application. If it comes to be that they DO change, i will retract this statment, and continue to roll my non-fitting 338 just the same. Just my 2 cents.

No, the people who have actually been in contact with the production part of the company has stated the same thing. THEY WILL BE READY SHORTLY AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR! The people who seem to claim to have talked to someone, but are "receiving" the new wheels are the ones who are clueless.
Slow down... They will be available shortly!!! I have a confirmation of this from the OWNER of AEW, and the SE sales manager. I can't offer any better confirmation...Chill!!! |

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5
peanut butter was invented long before the 338 boss wheel and the orange clashes with left side of Juneau but the wisper still carries on with the daffodils in the winter after the second tuesday of last week past the starting line. That being said the answer is still 4 says Rodney Dangerfield and he is right, he is right.
And now no one should be confused on the fitment of Jello.

Man those are awesome! I have always loved the Torque Thrust style wheels, but they are either the wrong lug pattern or not big enough.
So, how much did you pay for them?

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5
Some Folks know how to make chicken sh*t look like chicken salad and the only way to know if its chicken salad is taste it...... so I am gonna do just that..... And will know if I have chicken salad or chicken sh*t. All this back and forth on these wheels and waiting and calling and back and forth I could already know if what was being said is true or if by some slim chance they fit my truck..... I like the wheels so it is a chance I will take.... "A smart man listens and waits, a stupid man doesn't listen, but the wise man finds out for himself " That is a quote from the wisest man I have ever known....... My Dad..... So as I said I will know soon enough

I can think of, off the top of my head, a half of a dozen better ways to identify chicken s**t other than tasting it

I totally get your point, just the tasting of the chicken s**t got me. You certainly painted a vivid picture with your words.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5
Hickup..... I have no beef with you and yet somehow you seem to think so...... I simply was trying to say that this guy says this this guy says that.... all of which work for or very closely to aew...... and maybe they are like the guys on wall street and lie to make money I have been told they fit I have been told they won't from these aew people..... They may in fact be like the rest of corporate america with there head in the sand and dont have a clue. That being said I am gonna find out for myself...... I hardly think this is the same as "jumping off a bridge cause little jimmy did" I will post pics and update when they arrive.
