Wow Keith, that has pop!

Is that kit configurable with the a/c and alternator swapped, or do you just order a different part number?

This is the only way the Billet Specialties conversion kit comes. They didn't offer a kit that mounts the A/C on the passenger side. March makes a kit that mounts the A/C under the Alternator on the passenger side but I didn't care for it.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

Got the part number off of my front shocks for members bowtie468 and gringoloco. They are KYB Excel-G 344202.

Also fired my motor up today and it sounded awesome. Those Spintech mufflers were definitely the right choice. I should have a video up by tomorrow.

Still need to tune it, had to shut it off cause the Oil Pressure gauge we had wasn't working. We didn't want to tear it up.

Don't know exactly, the guy i bought the motor off of couldn't remember the cam specs. All he could tell me is big. My brother is friends with the machine shop owner that built the motor so we will try to find out. It's ok I loved it, this is not a daily driver so I like it loud. I will see how my vacuum is and change to a smaller one if needed. I do have a brand new Comp Cam Magnum 280H that came with the motor. When I bought the motor the guy was trying to clean out the garage so he started giving me stuff, he was like I don't need this so you can have it.

Bolted on my first piece of the body before we started the motor so I could mount my radiator. It was a huge accomplishment for me this weekend. It was the ispiration I needed to get this truck finished.
