Bugz
It's an Entropy Radiator, here's a link, check them out ! http://entropyrad.com/ I'd have to go back and check but I believe it's a 4 core, it's good for 800 HP. It fits stock 4 core mounts. I got the whole package with fans, sensors and the programmable controller. Nice st-up. Gary

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
Little more progress. Got the upper rad hose installed and the brake lines on the mc & P-valve plumbed in. Here's a little trick for any of you guys trying to double flare SS lines, I was having issues with the double flares splitting, I was using the softer SS that comes in a coil, but it wasn't soft enough. So I annealed it more. I used a small torch and heat the end once it was cut to length and ready to flare it. Heat it until it turns blue, or just barely red then let it air cool. That did the trick, no more splitting !

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
Well the truck has been sitting untouched for the last couple of weeks do to me having a Bakers Cyst on the back side of my right knee burst, leaking synovial fluid ( the fluid in your knee ) all down through my lower leg. I have never experienced anything quite like it. This fluid might be good for your knee but it's not good for the rest of the tissue in your leg. My leg swelled up like a balloon to the point it felt like my skin was going to split open.......
My skin is red and hot to the touch and is now turning brused looking. There's nothing you can do but take pain meds and lce your leg....... After two weeks it's just now starting to feel like it's subsiding!!!!! I can walk a little again..... OMG."..... WTF....... I didn't even know I had this thing !!!!!!!!

Chris,
You'll probably be done wiring your truck before I even start wiring mine! Today my leg feels like a hotdog being cooked over an open fire !

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
Thanks Scott !
I'm able to get around now but there's still issues in the back side of my knee and upper calf muscle. I'm scheduled to have an MRI next Tuesday morning and then go to an orthopedic surgeon that afternoon and see what he has to say ! Might try and putter around with the truck a little this weekend....

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
OK, for the last week I've been well enough to get back to the truck a little bit here & there ! I got all the peddles back in, firewall pads installed, brake booster brackets on, NOS windshield washer bottle in and started on the wiring.

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
Another step in the right direction !
Got my radio back from Gary Tayman yesterday, he takes your old AM radio and converts it to a digital AM/FM radio with several options to choose from. So you end up with your old radio housing, face, knobs and push buttons, with modern guts in it. So you have your vintage look that operates like a new stereo ! Don't ask me how it sounds because I'm still a long way from be able to try it out. I'll post up a link to his website so you guys can check it out for yourselves ! http://www.garytayman.com/stereo.htm Gary

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
I hear you ! 20/20 hindsight !
I used this site to research options and read everyone’s comments about the good and bad. CAS and Retro-sound were two I was considering. Then someone suggested checking out Gary Taymans radio conversions. That seamed to be a great alternative, correct look and new technology. Time will tell if I made the right choice ! Gary

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )
Hey Shannon;
Dayco 70611, I believe you can see the sticker in one of the pictures. I also used a different goose neck on the intake. It's a stock truck goose neck but I can't remember what yr it's from at the moment. I did cut a few inches off ea. end of the hose to get the fitment better ! Hey Lokin4areason; Thanks for the compliment ! And between the truck and a new Girlfriend the memories of the past are fading away !!!!
