Thanks 72kool. I have also thought I may do another one some day. We might get a few of em one day. I've searched & it's the only 67-72 short bed step side 1 ton dually on the internet. Had to believe nobody has ever done one before.

If u ever do PM me. Got a few things I would do differently. Short bed step side would stay the same. Might look 4 a 67-72 box.

Looks awesome, I want one now. I much rather have this color then the olive green. I just think it fits the short wheel base design better.

I will for sure Talk to you if I do. I would be curious about maybe grafting a fleet side bed. Just to be different

Actually the grafting step side fenders onto a long fleet side bed has been done. Most look goofy. One yellow slammed truck looks awesome. I looked at that possiblility myself, just couldn't fall in love with it. I also bought a flat bed thinking I would put it on, just couldn't do it. No offense to those with flat bed, just not hot rod enough for me.

71Sleeper. Thanks man, I appreciate it. Yeah, I love the color combo too, just always have had a soft spot in my heart for the med olive green trucks. Maybe next time.

Re: Meet Homer (the motor home)

Well gang,

Little progress on ole Homer this weekend. My painter asked me if I wanted to black out the inside of the grill before we painted it. I said, no, don't worry about it, just paint it body color. Well after looking at some done trucks I liked the look of the black out inners, so I had to tape up the entire grill to paint those. Would have been soooooooo much easier to do the black first. But, oh well. Gave me something to do yesterday. Got the grill shot and the back side of my bumper.
Today I hung the grill and could finally put the hood back in place and adjust it.
Without further ado.

Thanks Doug. Just taking it a little easier now that all the major stuff is done. Kinda burned out a bit. Heat took it's toll.

Thanks Elliot, I am also getting too old for it. Still rather have the heat than freezing cold. Actually last few days have been a few degrees cooler so the end is in sight. Not near, but coming. We have really nice winters here.

Re: Meet Homer (the motor home)

Few pics early this morning of ole Homer with his grill and hood on. Now if I only had some bling.

Hope you guys will forgive my huge mess of a backyard shop area. I am looking forward to finishing this project and cleaning everything back up.
