Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
I improved on my quarter mile time last night! I clicked it about 800 to 900 ft and went 9.672! I feel like it will go really low 9's or high 8's when I get the fiblerglass nailed on a little better!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Right on Kevin! I finally made it out myself, put my bigger carb on an ran a 10.77 @124mph with a 1.56 60'. I'm running out of gear at the big end, but have a few more tricks up my sleeve that I couldn't try this weekend but will next time I'm at the track.

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
I'm glad you made it out and improved! I don't have enough gear! I have a 4.30 with a 33 inch tall tire! I was gonna try some shorter and smaller tires friday night but the wheels hit the caliper and I had forgotten I needed spacers!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
I tryed to break into the 8's in the quarter this morning but I'm so used to running eighth mile I only put 6 seconds in my nitrous timer! I needed atleast 9 or so. I did get a new fastest time though. I ran 9.39 at 133.57!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Way to go Kevin!! Season is pretty much wrapped up here, my 12 bolt has taken a beating ( 1.52 60' 4373lbs. ) hopefully by next year I'll have a 9" in my truck and likely step it up to a 180 shot. Going to go for some mid 10 sec runs next year.
