I have the CST mirrors on my 69, they are perfectly fine on a pickup and look a lot cleaner. I have a peep mirror on my panel, it sucks and would prefer a larger mirror but it works...

Thanks and great job again!
Thanks so much. It is the factory paint color. The white is a little brighter white, but it is correct for the year. I will dig up the code for you.. It looks much cleaner with clear coat over the green.

the original tripod mirrors looked to be in good shape....do you still have them (and willing to sell)? i think they are in nicer shape than the pair i already picked up for my truck.
We like them.. on the trucks they are ok with them on. As far as the tripods, if you need them Jon will part with them. They are rusty on the arms that hold the mirror heads..but the stainless will clean up nice..

Very cool senior picture. I'd take it over my cheesy pose showing off the class ring

The wood grain in the cab really makes the green look good!

It does look AWESOME! I love the color and thanks for the info! Is the Metallic flake a part of the factory paint or did you add it to the paint?

You might have already said this somewhere previously in the post, but what did you guys do about all the surface rust on the frame, inside the doors and on the body which were in hard to reach areas? I'm thinking about blasting all that I can, but I also know I won't be able to reach everywhere... Did you use a self etching primer or anything? I'm on the fence about just buying new door skins since they're so cheap, but probably not the most economical route.

Thanks again for the paint code!

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration

Truck still looks great! Too bad it's up for sale. But I'm assuming that could be a college tuition! Good luck with the sale!

Yeah, sad to see this up for sale, but if it's gonna put him through college, that seems like time well spent.
