GMC project for someone? I contacted the poster, and he sent me some additional pictures. No SPID though. Checked the vin and it is #329 off the assembly line from the Fremont plant in 1967.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Thanks for posting. Its interesting to see a later build such as this one. Its a V8 truck which they didn't offer early in the 67 GMC production. I have #9 off the Fremont line. Most 67 GMC's didnt get SPIDS.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Two gems from same seller, $15K each.
70 C10 lwb and 70 K10 long step. I really like that long stepper! 72 K10 Cheyenne Super lifted, nice color/trim combo - I'd still confirm the SPID and would also look closely at cab corners $24.5K 72 C10 Cheyenne 565 paint $4600 Last edited by jocko; 03-23-2019 at 08:18 PM. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Should be "Erson" from the old Erson cams. They where a brand sold thru Super Shops, if you remember them!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
With all the stuff covering the letters, I wasn't sure. I had Sig Erson cam in my '66 Le Mans, but it was purchased at Hot Rod Valley (at least I think that was the name. It was on Sepulveda at Victory in Van Nuys) in the early '70s.

Washington state truck. I've been seeing a lot of posts where guys are yearning for a swb 4x4 Here's your chance. I'd do some thorough research to see if it started out life as a 72 SWB 4x4 if that matters to you.

68 K20 $14K
70 C30 DRW 4x4 Conversion (not a NAPCO) - 400sbc, 133 wb $5000 Seller thinks it's D44/14 bolt. Could be a very nice C30 4x4 project opportunity - all the hard work is done! I like it a lot, but, limited room and, of course, it's in Washington state, light years away... I need to move there. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I wouldn't have typically posted this truck, but had never seen "YF7 Inflation Fighter" on the SPID.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Here is the spid for the 70 blue longhorn. I have a 67 4x4 coming from that area to Iowa in April, just in case someone wants to get together on a transport.
Thanks Russ |
