lol . I’ve gotten to the point on my trailers I buy one new set and rotate them to the trailer I need at the time . Tires dry rot on them before they wear out .

My tire guy (son in law) got me Nokias outpost tires for my Nissan . $600 out the door . Must have fallen off the delivery truck

Simple tire lists them at $160 apiece

Re: What did you do to your truck today. The 3rd chapter

Finally got around to putting a matching chrome and black glovebox door on to match the gauge trim, found some self adhesive black faux leather to use on the center that matches okay.

Finished up the rear bumper and got it installed. Now moving on to putting the tail lights where the backup lights currently sit once I get my back up light idea finished up.

I ran a temporary spark plug wire to Plug #5. Works good. I hate Packrats, and obviously, the feeling is mutual...

I have a friend with a 67 he wants to convert but docent want to indent the frame for the box was that your method ?

I rolled the dice and got a CPP steering box (part #cp50014) and ordered through summit racing. It bolted right up without any frame or bumper bracket modifications needed.

Thanks, coming from you that’s a real compliment!

It was a square body dealership bumper that I narrowed and made new mounting for.

Looks good. I lowered my tail lights as well, ended up shortening the brackets so the taillights didn't stick out too far. Think I cut 1/2 to a an inch off each bracket.
Didn't care for the pancake lights.

Since the 8in wheels didn't fit the 68 right 265-75 was to much, but did on the crew cab.
And trying to get into the lense covers.
Since the stainless trim is a joke

my pleasure, here's a few more if you don't mind.there were some very nice, well done cars and trucks there. The Atlantic Nationals in July will be the next big one around here, also in Moncton,New Brunswick.it's all outdoors of course, they have a street cruise and party,a show in Centennial Park.it's a great time and goes on for 4 or 5 days,a couple thousand cars and trucks from all over.Gene Winfield has come for years and they usually chop a top or something at the show but i think has some health issues now.i think that Welder Up guy,Kent Writtenberry, and some other guys coming to work some of their magic.they used to build a give-away car every year for one of the participants to win but changes this year,a $10,000 prize as well as a $5000.00,$2500.00 and $1500.00 prize, crate motors, new transmissions, wheels, welders and on and on.a great show.i've never won anyting,(my luck) but maybe this year?
