The truck sat for I know of 2 years in the man's field beside his shop. The first time I ever stopped and looked at it.
It's come a long ways but has a long way to go too!

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yeah, same here. The thermometer on the side of the shop showed less than 30 all day. We still have snow on the ground too.

We got almost 6" of snow here, wife wanted me to take her out in the truck yesterday, until I reminded her the heat isn't great in it!

We only got 3" of snow Friday night thru Saturday morning but it started out as sleet so there's a nice layer of about 1/2" of ice under the snow. Temperatures are not supposed to be above freezing until tomorrow at noon. But the bright side is 69 degrees by Friday afternoon. Secondary road are still ice covered. Yeah, I know what you people up north are thinking. 3" is a joke. Not when most cities in the south don't have enough snow removal equipment. We just don't get enough snow to justify the cost of equipment or manpower to run it.

Looks good, do you know if the dashes were supposed to be painted black? I have an Ochre truck with a previously black painted dash with Ochre under the worn black but the black looks like it may be original. Just curious as it is stripped down right now and would be a great time to paint it either.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Spent yesterday cleaning and reorganizing the garage after the bed replacement last weekend.

Getting stuff ready to rebuild the doors next weekend (all new felts, polish the glass, paint doors, fenders and hood, new mirrors on doors).

Took my old 70 c20 workhorse out for a pick up run in the 14 degree weather Saturday. I couldn't believe it actually started and didn't miss a beat. Don't make them like they used to.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Started sanding my swap meet driver door down to bare metal to prep for primer, assembly and mounting this weekend.

Then, my cheap Black & Decker orbital sander died on me. So, ordered a new one (love same day Amazon shipping) and I'll continue after work tonight.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I cut out some seat belt mounting brackets out of some C-channel for the 3 point seat belts I bought. I also put wood grain on the button to match my interior. These seat belts are from seat belt solutions made in the USA I got them from www.infparts.com They were $59.00 each.

I moved and my truck made the journey finally from Los Angeles to its new home in Clearwater beach , FL. Looking to do some cruising at the beach. Then again with my view and location of my new home I might get lazy working on her. Definitely got to get AC at some point, it was 80 degrees yesterday and it's January!

Welcome to Florida! You are going to be surprised how different the weather is here compared to CA.
What transporter did you use to move your truck?

Movewheels.com, I've used them in the past but their communication was horrible this time. I think it was because it was around the holidays and people were off and trucking companies took off.. They just coordinate the moves to find the shipper. The main thing it makes it there everytime.

Yeah the weather is different since they definitely get rain around here. Although California has been crying rain since I left lol

St Pete/ Clearwater was my stomping grounds for 30+ years , Very Nice ! Drive down Gulf blvd from Clearwater beach over Johns pass bridge to Treasure Island and find Sunset beach where there is a great little beach bar and grille then down to St Pete beach past the Don Cesar pink hotel to Passagrille it's a great Sat morning cruise .
