Random Photos ‘You took’

I know everyone likes photos on this site
Let’s see what you’ve got
Keep it simple
Only (1) photo per post
And an explanation

It can be truck related
But does not have to be

However
You must be the one who took the shot

Thanks for playing along

Nice!

We had one land in our yard one time.

We enjoyed champagne while the kids stomped the remaining air out of it.

Ok - need a photo. Be right back -

My Chevelle - pretending it's "Eleven" from the show Stranger Things, during a particularly good day racing.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Random picture of a vole and my truck. March of last year up the street by the water, he was wobbling towards my truck, maybe looking for a new warm home?
So I shooed him off and this is where he hid, I noticed him when I turned around after taking a piss

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

buddy of mine needed to use my trailer so it was time to dig it out and redeck it.. it was in baaad shape.. it's not completely finished but roadworthy to make his haul..

he's moving to Springfield MO where his parents and brother's family moved a few years ago so he's hauling his '69 and some cargo back with it..

sawzall, prybar, and a bigger hammer

small world - manager at ganahl lumber that selected my boards, cut the 4 footers and ripped the two skinnies, basically fit the whole deck for me, is also moving to Springfield next month

couple of notches in the rear angles and copious amounts of belt sanding - voila!

after my buddy gets back and the lumber has dried out a little and sapped out I'll pull the boards for seal and paint - fun project for the kids

Looks good!

I just pulled my trailer around front so I could pressure wash it and give it a couple of coats of preservative. I think it makes them last longer.

thank you and great advice I'm going to take this time.. that's a 2003 Carson I bought brand new with brakes on both axles and battery backup emergency break away.. but I requested the deck unpainted so I could apply something clear and a little nicer looking.. well guess what - like an idiot I never put a drop of anything on it..

I've kicked around the idea of using the same products I put on the longhorn bed on the farm.. I actually have some here for my other longhorn but I also have the bed kit for it so more likely paint on the trailer.. my son is insisting I clean up the frame and fenders so anything could happen

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Perhaps a better submission than my previous:

I shot this in Chicago, as we were walking back from the MCACN show to the vehicle staging area.

Shot it through the openings in a chain link fence, no filters or anything. I was mostly intrigued with the perspective of the train tracks disappearing into the distance. The coloring was a pleasant surprise.

At our family property in the mountains, camping in my Dad's old 1969 Ford van.
The van has been in our family since 1975, been to Mexico twice.
That is an old hunters cabin that has been there for years.

The rusted one on the vehicle. I went to the hardware store to buy just a spring . One that would have worked was 6 bucks . Pack of 4 traps 99 cents
