Boy that will do it. Unfortunately I've always done it the hard way. Would love to have a tractor. And that view, wow.

Replaced the decking I’m going to extend the deck 12 feet next spring so I didn’t replace the post and rails . Used the Camo system so no visible decking screws little pricy but it looks so much nicer .

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Made an 80 mile round trip for a "tiger oak" solid wood dresser. I plan to use it in my carving area to set my small carving tool chest and stuff things in the drawers. That will give me room on the carving bench. It's still in the bed of the truck, and the sellers already deleted the posting, so no picture, yet. If anyone wants to see it, that is. Can't buy the materials for what I spent on it.

Those are some good looking peanut butter cookies. Pressing makes them taste even better.

Pecan pie has to be one of my favorite substances, just ahead of carrot cake. I'm sure you enjoyed that pie. I should go to the store and get some of each, though I'm betting your wife's pecan pie has it all over store-bought!

Great pictures! The first is best but even the second showing just a piece of tailgate. Just an old truck and some pecans.

Is it pee-cans, pee-cons, or peekins

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Yeah, my wife uses my mom's pecan pie recipe with a little cinnamon and a TBS of bourbon in it. It's a keeper!

I'm from Arkansas......those are PACONNS.

My Grandma always called her pie Karo Nut Pie. I don't care what it's called, but it aint Thanksgiving & Christmas without two or three of them sitting out on the dessert table.

I'll share my mom's recipe with yall later. I made a tiktok of it and I'll share the link, but I'll share the recipe when I lay my eyes on it for those who don't do the tok thing.

Arkansas Pecan Pie recipe:
1/2 stick softened salted butter *I use real butter*
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light Karo syrup
Cream together with electric mixer. Then add:
3 eggs
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp bourbon
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp flour
Mix well. Then pour over 1 cup of pecans that you’ve already put in your deep dish pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.

Y’all let me know if you make it and if you like it. Enjoy!

I forgot about the puh-cons and puh-cans pronunciation and that's how I do it. (puhcons). I know one thing, I always know what people mean.

Looks good. Fasteners of all sorts have come a long way, but none are cheap. I never really figured fasteners in my bids years ago. I sure do now! heck, even nails are expensive these days

Printed it out. Seems pretty simple. I bet I can even do it myself....

I need to get some fresh Pecans. Mine have been in the freezer for a while.
