Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
This is my Buddy's 1966 GMC Stepside that his father purchased new in 66 at the local dealership in town. Soon it will get a mild static drop and some original steel wheels.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
This is a pic I saved a few years back of a '66 era Chevy truck (not sure of the exact year) from an online website that sold vintage/classic vehicles. Always thought it was a cool picture.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
No - they were replaced sometime in the early 90's, we are currently scouring the garage to locate them. I will try to post some interior pics soon, thanks for the kind words re the trucks.

Send me a PM when you do it. If all the stars line up right maybe I will.
Pics below: Same place different time. The picture of yours was taken by El Jay if I remember correctly.

I also really like the black and white photo of the two trucks together. The severe contrast between the two vehicles adds an interesting dynamic to the picture. Without the late model SUV in the background, the picture would look like it could have been taken 40+ years ago.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
That is a nice truck. That is a '66 emblem on the fender, but it is mounted too low, not in the factory location.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Cap, I saw the emblem too, but because i'm still a novice on the chevy's , I thougt maybe they adjusted the location from the factory.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Interesting, I've never noticed that. Even though I had a '66 ages ago, I'm not all that familiar with the variation of emblems and trim on the mid-60s line.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I really like the blue one.
Actually, I like the the black one better. Or.. maybe I like the blue just a little more than the black one. Nope... I like the black one more. Nevermind, I like them both equally. Posted via Mobile Device

Those are both very nice trucks, Hagelin. Nice to see Sweden represented on the Boards.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
No, Alan....
I was just teasing ya about your original post....about it finally being to the point where ya felt it okay to show us....I have the feeling that we would drool over it a long time ago....at whatever stage of completion you had it.... It's hard to disguise that rig as anything other than what it is......pure sweet. Good taste....well executed. BTW....She sure did have a "Calendar Month" just waiting for her.....an' I'm sure we all agree on that.

Belated congratulations on winning the TOTM. I voted for your truck, but it appears the forum sub groups are no longer notified when the contest closes, so I rarely find out who won.
