Reminds me of my crew cab. Mine started out as a 2wd as well. Now it's 4x4 with a cummins getting stuffed in it.

I actually had a donor 96 for it but decided I wasn't up for the challenge with my life at the moment.

454 th400/205 d60/70 4.10s on SSR37's
Came out to about 10inches when I used 6"springs and a 4"shackle flip for the rear.
Front has 4"52's with the DIY4x B52 bracket. Its really too tall but I only drive it maybe once a month. I just did it for kicks since I have other vehicles to fill my needs.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I can understand that it is a lot of work. I'm hoping I can get away with 4 or 6" of lift with 37s. Wanna stay low enough to still use it as a truck.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

And this is how she sits so far, 8 bolt GM rims, got rid of the running boards, newer front bumper, rear door glass from a suburban....and now with a broken rod and oil pan ventilation (unintended mod)

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Just picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. It's a 1988 Topkick with Cat 3208, Allison MT643, 23K Eaton rear and A/C. Big crew cabs are very hard to find in decent shape. I have never seen a Topkick crew cab before, so I just could not let this one get away. www.bigasstrux.com
