Re: Parting out 66 C10

Indian113, its a manual box. Has some play in the steering shaft before it grabs. About the usual old condition I suppose. Scott, the floors and kick panels are pretty poor. The whole cab itself is pretty bad. No visors. The rear is not a posi, but it is a 5 lug, 3:73. Im not really sure what makes the heater controls deluxe versus standard. Fill me in if you can.

Re: Parting out 66 C10

I'm just learning on this gen of these trucks, but I think the standard heater control has either one or two knobs, while the deluxe has individual arms. If u could post a pic of what u have it would help. BTW u might want to put a post on the 67-72 parts board for the rear.

Thanks

Re: Parting out 66 C10

Scott, $75.00 for the gauge cluster. Really nice besides 2 extra screw holes for the horn button on the bezel. $15.00 for the mirror? Let me know

I'll pass on the gauge cluster, but will take the RV mirror.

How much for the glovebox door? I really only need the plastic trim that says Chevrolet.

My '64 dash is painted the light fawn color, and only the '66 trucks were the dark fawn color, so it won't match my dash. What I really need is the plastic trim, but I don't know how it's attached to the glove box door. If it can come off without being damaged, I'm interested in it by itself.
