Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....

gorgeous truck! i've got a '63 long bed stepside. going to do the flat black as well. i was thinking about keeping that bumpers white, but that black looks too damn good. how much of a drop is that front and rear?

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....

Thanks...I was thinking about breaking up the black a little too...mabey paint the grill white, or something.

As far as the drop...not sure what it is, when I got the truck, it was already lowered....not sure what they measure stock. If someone can give me a measurement from the fender lip to the bottom edge of the rim,(on a stock truck) then I would be able to tell ya.

Should be no problem on the plugs...as far as type...its a center dump.

72 Nova ? COOL...I have a 71 SS.

Well it's obviously taken me longer than what my previous post said of a week to get it back together....

My next customer is being patient (father-n-law).....

Just built an adapter to use my VW Type 1 towbar on the truck...

Hopefully will be able to tow it tommorow to San Jose Steam Clean to remove all the 'GM Rust-Proofing'.....

I wish I had the time to do it right...and drop the frame on this thing.....

OH well

John
