Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
Sorry I missed your post till now, sorry I don't have any dashes that I am willing to cut out the radio knob areas for you. I did 6 months ago when I went on a recycling frenzie.
I'll keep my eye out for some. |

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
Do you still have the driver's side front inner fender?
Yours looks pretty rust free.....would yours fit a 1972 Chevy 1/2 ton? Would it also work with power steering? I'm rather new at this sort of thing but my inner front fenders are pretty rusty! My zipcode is 25832. |

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
Yes I still have the LH inner fender, it is in good shape, but I'll check it out tomorrow throughly and verify the condition.
Yes it should fit a 1/2 ton and it is a power steering truck so there should be no problems there, plus I believe there is not any difference between power steering and non-ps inner fenders. I'll have to see who can handle such a bulky item and how much shipping would be. I'm not set up to ship so I don't know all the size requirements. Thanks for inquiring Brian Quote:

Could you PM me about the inner fender? I'm new to this site and might miss your reply.

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
Hey man, one more thing.
Since you were able to cut out the passenger side of the firewall there for that one fellow....could you cut out the same for me, but the other side? I'll try and get pics tomorrow of what I have in mind and get an online account to post those from. I have some rust there and when/if I get around to a frameoff, it would be great to already have that part. THANKS! |

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
I sure can, get me a picture so I know exactly what you need. And I'm sure I'll cut it large just to give you plenty to work with.

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
Great man, thanks.
I was too busy today to take a pic of my firewall rust area but I'll try again tomorrow. Shipping on an inner fender would be difficult for sure; getting it to me without being bent up would be tough. If you are willing to go through with it, I'm sure we can figure out some way to do it as I don't think I'll be able to pick anything up in person! |

Re: parting out 72 longhorn cab and pieces
If 6t727t2 passed on the patch panel above the heater box I'd be interested in it. How much shipped? I'll need to check the location of my bad area. My truck is a 69. Is the 72 patch panel the similar to the 69?
Thanks, Rich |

Rich,
To the best of my knowledge they should be the same. I'll give him a few more days to respond. l8tr |
