my stuff was like that too... I had it on for a week or more. Always seemed to rub up against the frame while painting... Never got it on the jewels though...ouch

I picked some up at the local parts store. To my surprise it was cheaper there than anywhere I could find on the web!
Probably start painting this weekend. |

I got mine at a local automotive paint store. Paid $38.00 plus tax (app $41.00) for a quart.
I checked with most of the auto parts stores including Napa and no one carried it. |

hey longhorn, since you deal with stuf eveyday. i was wondering after applying this could i just spray some dupont clear over it for my uv protection, i am about a day or two from being ready to put on the por 15 . and from what ya said i dont want it to chalk up... and if i can clear it, when do i apply when its close to flashing off or completly dry? thanks in advance tony......

I just ordered Rust Converter, Rust Encapsulator & Satin Chassis Black directly from Eastwood. I've been outside all day with a wire cup prepping the frame getting all of the crud off so there's no loose stuff. I'll document the process and post pics here and in my build thread when I'm done
