Re: Hot Rod Trucks Let's see em!!!

Here is my truck - 71 GMC stepside. My father gave me the truck last year. He did a frame off resto on it, except for the exterior paint (needs a repaint). Since then, I purchased:
GMPP 330 HP/380 FT. LBS. TRQ 350Ci
TCI Streetfighter TH350
All new chrome
New Torq Thrust 2 rims and tires
Lowered 1" in front, 3" in rear
Power brakes
New wiring harness, etc. etc. etc.

I still have to reupholster the seat, new carpet, and get the body sprayed.

Re: Hot Rod Trucks Let's see em!!!

'70 chevy, '71 olds 455 built to 468, fully ported E big valve heads, torker intake, 780 Holley. 2500 convertor, 3.73 gears. It towed my drag car 110 miles to the track and got 10mpg doing it, drop the trailer and it ran 12.6s@111-115mph consistently. Drove it everyday til I sold it. I miss this truck.

'72 475bbc 6-71 setup for cruising. Ran a best of 12.45@110. The sticker on the windshield was a joke for a car show! This was my buddy's truck we built. He won 40 trophies and plaques in one show season, then tore it down for a makeover. Never completed, sold everything then the truck a couple of months ago.

yes it did make a couple of magazines.

My buddy Ryans truck, '67 blown alky 388 small block, over 760 rwhp on the dyno at Sprinfield a couple of years ago, ran a best of 9.45@145 same year. Still available for cruise nights! It's bagged now though, same configuration drivetrain wise.

Here's my 68. It's not as fast as some on here, but it still moves along pretty good.
