My next build I will try a rhino bed liner on the underside, if it's visible under the hood (like my firewall) it will have Titeseal with paint. I like how it lays down, looks better painted, and it's not too rough looking.
thanks for the info.

Re: 4BT Cummins 4L85 Long to Short

never ceases to amaze me at the skills and talent that some of you have I can dream up lots of stuff but could never act on it as you did.

I have dreamt of a similar build for close to 20 years now only difference is I would do a manual trans as I just have never cared for diesels with automatics

I am rather surprised at your mileage as well definitely throw a taller tire on there and stink bug it a little that should help

well played sir

Re: 4BT Cummins 4L85 Long to Short

Very nice! I'm sure it is a huge improvement over the 4bt! How does Chad like his new wheels? I haven't seen them on it yet.

Re: 4BT Cummins 4L85 Long to Short

It's pretty awesome. This is the current build from 72duraburb. The build is on the Farmfab facebook page. I don't want to step on his toes so i'll leave it at that. Maybe we'll get some videos posted on FB. It sounds like an airplane taking off!

He did a great job on that! I really like the a2w intercooler too!

Re: 4BT Cummins 4L85 Long to Short

Anyone looking for a duramax suburban? I would like to spend a couple days on it to make the engine compartment look like the green truck but 21k buys it as is. Cruise, ac, heat, efi live, dsp switch, 240 hp tune. Same setup as my truck. My truck made 500hp and 900tq at the tires...
