We just took the 91 for an all day drive cruising around Texas going nowhere special but everywhere that looked fun. We really enjoy the experience of shifting gears. Currently this truck is the only standard in our possession. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Brought back from the dead!
Just installed a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder. The old one was still, working with 252K on it but was chattering when cold.
The new one is smooth and wonderful. I am now going to be using this truck as my daily driver.

Re: Brought back from the dead!
Thank you.
I will be selling it back to my 73 year old friend who has missed it ever since he let me purchase it. I didn’t really want to do that but it is the right thing to do. He says I can have it back when he can’t drive it anymore.

Re: Brought back from the dead!
That's very kind of you. That would be tough to do. You've done a lot of work and changed the value dramatically, so even arriving at a fair number would be hard. Especially since originally you had arrived at a price not realizing how much it had deteriorated. I respect your decision to sell it back and hope that he appreciates all you've done and takes great care of it.

Re: Brought back from the dead!
I have done that too. Good thing is you know it will eventually come back to you. As I told my friend, hopefully its not soon.
