No way to tell cause if you find a shop that will swap just the shaft it could be pretty cheap but I'm pretty sure with having it for down there gonna say it needs a rebuild to be safe

That's going to be one hell of a truck. Post a link to the build here, I really want to follow some of the info for this swap. I've seen a couple combos on ebay, but I just can't pull the trigger right now.

Agreed on the driveshaft and sorry bout the 135 miles I miss read and thought 135k not 135 period that really is a good score barely even got out of dealership

Until they make a decently priced stand alone unit to control this trans and not do a LS swap this trans is a no go for most people. I don't think you can call it just a trans swap when it required a new engine to go with it.....

So I have a question. Drove a truck with that combo while back kinda remember a lag when hitting the throttle with towing a load.
Do this sound familiar? If so, would a custom tune on it bring about more responsive changes? Posing the question, yeah it may not matter. |
