When someone that doesn't know much about trucks looks at mine they get confused because I have a late model bed. They always ask "what year is that".

My '72 gets a fair amount of attention, even from some of the BMW & Mercedes drivers that seem to dominate this area. When the top is down, someone is always trying to talk to me, of course, I can't hear them, but I just nod and smile.

If you guys REALLY want to turn some heads, even better, some mouth wide open stares.................Put a Cummins in your '67-'72 3/4 or 1-ton truck!
We've been using mine alot over at my neighbors farm, and when we pull a hill pulling hay wagons the Cummins just roars, and smokes.........People honestly STOP what they are doing and watch us go by. I can't wait to finish up the body work and get it painted..........Then start hitting the shows with it(If I can pry it away from our work long enough).

Yup. Me too. Its a common truck. Because of that many people walk right by it by about 8', slam on the skids and turn around when what they saw registers. It pretty funny. I get comments wherever I go. Seems like everyone wants to race. Even Hondas. Its almost like they concede I have 'em beat in looks & they want to show me they got me on speed. The last Honda found out what grandpas big block could do.

I was driving into the local car show once, and had a guy just about run through a stop sign, and hit someone. I appreciate the looks, but that's just a little to close.... (haha) And I still have holes in the side of the bed and cab, but most people seem to not be bothered by them...I know I'm not

Yep mine turns heads in the exact same way. Either that or my neighbor (local enforcement) tends to do a turn around everytime I take it on the road lately

Mine mostly turns the heads of kids. I think it's because it looks like a life sized Hot Wheels

Mine looks pretty good. Get a few thumbs up now and then. Think if I changed the stance it would really turn heads then.
Wife thinks I'm nuts. I turn my head at EVERY 67-72.

yea
Whenever i drive mine, which isn't very often, i either have my friends hangin out the windows when i meet em wavin, or tellin me to do burnouts, and the occasional people that stare when i drive by. Then i usually let em hear the pipes on it, cuz i always appreciate that when ppl drive their vehicles instead of putt around in them.

Mine's still pretty rusty, but runs. Get guys asking about it at gas station and parking lots. People look while I'm driving, but there are about five or six 67-72's in our town of 10k, so they aren't that rare around here.

YES...put me in that category of "Amazed it is actually on the road and running!". I really turned heads the last time I had the "67 out driving around the neighborhood without doors, windshield, hood or box! It was running and moving though!

Mine is just back on the road and still very "fresh". Hell I can't walk away from it without turning my head three or four times.
I still haven't gotten used to the way people pull up along side and drive next to you until you look their way... then comes the thumbs up. It's cool but a little skeevy at the same time. They vaporize out of nowhere at the gas station and such and start talking your head off... It’s very flattering... but I'm really going to puke if one more person says "Nice Bronco!"

I get looks and thumbs pretty often. I took the wife and kids to a car show a few weeks ago and on the way out of the lot my wife heard some old guy say, ' I bet that burb is older than they are.' He was right by five years.
I even had a teen girl at the local 'choke and puke' drive thru window say, ' I love your truck sir'. I still can't believe she called me 'sir', I'm only 30. Aaron

Luv and a few other board members have seen my trucks at the Nats and pics that I have posted on here. I think they thought the trucks were head turners ( or maybe they were just being polite ). Sometimes I forget that I am driving something that is a little out of the ordinary, and I think "what are they looking at?". It's always cool when you watch people's heads swivel when you drive by. When my wife drives the C10 to school, she says she gets a lot of looks in the parking lot full of econo grocery getters. I guess they don't expect to see a girl driving an old fixed up truck. I always tell people to build their trucks the way that they want to, don't fix one up according to someone else's taste. But it sure is nice to know that other people appreciate what you have done.

My trucks paint is scratched, it has body damage, a bit of rust.....in other words, no where near perfect.
BUT I STILL GET LOOKS!! Thats how AWESOME our trucks are!! People ask me about it in parking lots quite often. "Thats just a neat ole truck" they usually say.
