OOps, didnt read the sig on the bottom. My fault. The SRT only get 13.9's? Figured theyd get a lot better than that, must not have good traction. The lightnings get into the 11's fairly easily with not much money spent.

no prob. actually alot of it has to do with the huge wheels the SRT 10 runs which makes its rear gear too high. That and the thing weighs a bunch! Honestly, none of the trucks perform well for the money IMO.

summit 16 gal fuel cell foam filled and modified for an in tank walbro 255 fuel pump with 1/2 line to the motor and 3/8 return line.

underneath the bed. you can buy them with or without foam. I just changed the fittings and made a pickup for the pump. goodluck.

Definitely watching this thread. My 700R4 bit it today and with my new job I should be able to afford a LS1/T-56 to replace it.
How do you think that shifter position will work? Are you going to use A/C? And why did you scrap the modified stock tank like you had in your older thread?

the shifter should work out fine. I'll post some pics of the custon shifter I come up with. The stock tank would have worked fine I just angled for the cell so I would have room for car audio behind the seats later on if I get the itch not too mention that I really wanted the extra weight over the rear wheels (also did batt relocater kit)
If anyone is interested in the tank local, $10 and come get, it's looks great!

Do you have any pictures of the modificaton of the fuel cell. I am about to tear out my 6cyl and put in my 5.3l SSR engine. I was also wondering if I could use a blazer tank and put in a fuel pump.
Are you the one from ls1tech that asked for 2000 silverado cluser pinouts? If so and you didn't get them I can send you them. Did the motor mount plate diagram work for you? Would like to know, before I do it myself. Will post pictures of my progress too. Jeremy

there is no modification that needs to be done to the cell itself. Just the fittings. Actually, I ended up pulling the intank pump and using it on my camaro because I got a killer deal on a Aeromotive inline A1000.
Couldn't tell you about the blazer tank but on the cell you will just need to get the cell and the pump and have a line and or fittings setup from a decent truck shop. Good luck on the SSR swap. The motor mount plates worked alright I just had to fabricate custom perches to make everything fit with the right drivetrain pitch, or at least the way I wanted it. Yeah, I asked for the pin outs but I don't need them anymore. I ended up using a F-body PCM anyway with Autometer guages. The motor ended up being a 2003 6.0l not a 2000 5.3 like the seller thought also LOL. -Taylor

i`m planning to do the same swap but with either the 5.3 or 6.0 w/ automatic. the 6spd would be fun but my knees are bad and too much shifting makes it no fun anymore.
