Ummmm no smoke here but I have a slow camera. Actually this was the aftermath of an aftershow burnout party following our local Beat the Heat sponsered car show. We gathered at a friends house for grilling and "smoking" This was just in front of his house as everyone was leaving.

not me but...

Great thread!

http://www.2quicknovas.com/burnout.html

If you haven't seen this site yet, you need to. Check out the plymouth blowing a tire. Otherwise a nice site, too. When I saw it, I sent them an email describing when I was 14 or 15 working on a farm. There was a tractor, a steep hill and a long flat rock that spanned the tractor road. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me. Glad I'm still here to remember it.

I'm not anymore. I had a 512" BBC, but I sold it and put a 408 F.I. SBC together now.

This one was just getting off the burnout pad as I showed up, I think it had 38's. Of course that is a supercharged 506 Big Block under the hood....

This guy has 35" tires. But he is running a bored and stroked 502 (I want to say it is a 570, but I disremember right now). I've seen him pack the front wheels for a good ten feet on launches.

Here's one of my truck last summer. Truck was running like $h!t so I had to clean her out. I think it did the job. (Sorry for the quality, I transferred the video onto my computer from my camcorder, then extracted the pic, so its not the best.)

Ok, so I know that it isn't a pic, and the truck is a ford, but it is a hell of a burnout. My buddy smoked his spare till it popped. It is a pretty big file but if you let it load, it is worth the wait. The truck is an 83 F-250 with a 429. It's got headers and 3.5 inch exhaust, sounds like a Stock car eh?
