Do you plan to use a heat riser? A manifold for a heat riser will have a flat flange for a gasket on the outlet.

Tom, I don't have a problem with the smog ports. I will not be running a heat riser either. What will the cost be sending them to 22435 in VA? Thanks.......Roland

Ok, I'll get a pair done up and post some pics. Quite busy right now (redoing the deck for the wife) so it would be next week before I have them done. If this time frame doesn't work please let me know.

Re: SB 2wd exhaust manifolds

May have to get with you very soon for a 2wd set for a 72. They look amazing, gotta get rid of my long tube headers. trucks too low and headers are lowest part of my truck.. it hates speed bumps.

Re: SB 2wd exhaust manifolds

I hope it's ok to add some info to your thread. I have coated three sets of manifolds with the Eastwood hi temp powder with excellent results. Two were used during the engine brake-in with no problems. I used the stainless steel color, looks only slightly brighter than the top manifold in the first post.

[QUOTE=tll74;6697736]Rod, I have the RH but not the 67-68 only LH. My LH 67-68's do not have the A.I.R ports.

Do you still have this manifold with A.I.R. ports?

Rod, I believe so. I'll look for you today. I have 7 RH's still on trucks. I haven't sold one so I should still have it. Thanks, Tom

Re: SB 2wd exhaust manifolds

Rod, I have this one with plugged A.I.R. ports. It does have what I call heat checked in the center. Will this work for you?

Dirt's72, I have a very nice pair done up finally. I'll post pics Tuesday.

Thanks, Tom

No cracks or spider cracks? Any chance I could get you to remove the a.i.r. plugs. Just want to be sure the threads are good. Last one I just bought off ebay they were badly stripped out. Rod.

Re: SB 2wd exhaust manifolds

chewychevy67, This one is heat checked in the center as many commonly are. It is not cracked. I could remove the the plugs if needed. But it would be next week. I'll try to have my helper get the shipping cost.

Dirt's72, Here are the pics of the manifolds. I have removed the plugs and the threads as well as plugs are fine. This is a matched pair and will work with or without a heat riser. They both have the bevel for the donut gasket. I also removed the old studs and the treads are fine.

Guys, I'm gone Wednesday on a vacation trip to San Francisco with the family be back early next week. Thanks, Tom
