Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
I remember a post on here by someone who put them on and i think they had to cut their fenders. The picture on their website also looks like the fenders are cut at the bottom. Maybe they have redesigned them since. Either way the bumpers are the best looking design ive seen.

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
Thanks Tom!
That was my first impression too, when I received other pictures from him. But no, it's not. I'll find out what it is when I go pick up the blazer. It's in Chewela, WA, so I'm guessing mine tailings or something... |

Looks great. Wish mine was at that stage. Did you find anything out about the bumper?

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
Nice, cant wait to see them mounted. Thats a lot simpler fix than trimming the fenders.

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
I have read about all the trouble it takes to get and mount the bumpers but they look great! Nice rig!

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
Thank you Pife.
I've got two brothers that live in the St. Louis area; one in Lake St. Louis and the other out of town on the west side. Lived there myself for about five years working at the Weldon Springs (WSSRAP) environmental cleanup... |

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
I moved here about 5 or 6 years ago. I am planning a move to Kentucky within the next year. If you are ever here to visit your brothers look me up we can have some beers!

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
And here it is with the soft top. It'll have the hard top as well, the soft top will just be insurance for getting caught out in the rain, as it'll be mostly topless...

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
The blazer is being delivered tomorrow. Would have been today except the studs on the spare tire carrier were too short and George couldn't pick anything up today...have I said yet that I LOVE my bodyman??!! Working through Memorial weekend just to get the build wrapped up. Wow!
Here are some pix that he sent over of the interior. Hopefully some more shots tomorrow. |

Re: New Guy, Not So New Blazer
Well, the blazer is home, safe and sound. I've got a few mechanical issues to tweak; tighten up the steering being the main one, but a few other small things. One is never really done...now my stupid question period begins lol...
Hoping for warm dry weather this weekend, then time to cruise!!! |
