Question Hey Skokie

"Quieted down A bit and it seems to cool better now". That doesn't sound to enthusiastic. Was it worth the money?

I cant say it was worth the money. The clutch and the fan were Christmas presents. Its worth it.

You'l likely make it up in better fuel economy over the long run with the new setup.

The whole reason auto makers went to fan clutches was for increased fuel economy.

The clutch will disengage when needed, freeing up some horsepower, and mileage too.

Well, yes, that and probably better cooling and quieter operation (when the clutch isn't locked, of course!).
