Kinda surprised you didn't replace the old dizzy and coil with an upgraded unit.. but the rest looks nice!
Well i just wanted to get everything working like it did back in '67. I'm 99% sure i'm going to swap over to HEI sometime before show season next year.

Re: Project Simple Green - Lucille - 1967 C10 Porterbuilt/AccuAir

List of parts either refurbed, replaced, serviced while at Shop #1 (my buddy's place with the old scissor lift):

Motor rebuilt (.060 over, Comp Cams Thumper Cam, Edelbrock Intake, Holley 4-Barrel, Headman Headers)
Rear Diff Serviced (open, 3.73 and staying that way)
Shifter Linkage/Bushings Refurbed
New Clutch and all associated parts
New U-Joints
New Driveshaft Bearing
Front Manual Drum to Power Disc Conversion Installed
Rear Drums Rebuilt
Front upper and lower Control Arms Refurbed
Heater Core Replaced
New Radiator
New Alternator (100 amp if i remember correctly)
2.5" Lowering Spindles
22 GM Transit Wheels and 265/30r22 tires

The Ol' 3-Speed, 283 (well now a 292) ass shot!

Vitals:

Here it is when I got it back to my folk's place. Came home about 15 miles with headers dumped through about 2 feet of pipe!

Where the rest of the work is going to happen:

Re: Project Simple Green - Lucille - 1967 C10 Porterbuilt/AccuAir

Appears to have been a workhorse back in the day. Won't be needing the spare or overload spring anymore.

Time to get to the rear suspension! Porterbuilt Stage 2 Basic (bolt-in notch, adjustable panhard bar, bags, cups, rear crossmember). Too sweet of a view, always good to step back and soak up a little sense of accomplishment (yeah taking the bed off is a milestone!).

Removing Old Rivets with an Air Chisel (best method by far IMO). Thanks to Porterbuilt for designing things such that they re-use old rivet holes!

Re: Project Simple Green - Lucille - 1967 C10 Porterbuilt/AccuAir

Notch and Crossmember Installed (minus lower shock mount and Panhard Bar):

Rear Bag Installation:
Due to the fittings that came with my PBFab/AccuAir package I had to modify the cups slightly.

BEFORE Porterbuilt Tank/Compressor Mount:

AFTER Porterbuilt Tank/Compressor Mount:
(Temp Rear Air Plumbing sticking through in this shot. Hard to find a quick-connect schrader valve set-up. GET A COUPLE FROM AMAZON.com in advance and save yourself from some local begging which is what my Friday afternoon consisted of)

Rear Done (Minus Lower Shock Bar):

Stage 2 Getting DOWWWWN! No bump stops, cheating a little!!
I dont mind showing off my Year of Manufacturer Plate. SCDMV was awesome to deal with. I literally had the lady at the DMV on the phone while I was browsing eBay deciding which vintage plates I could use. I'd say "what about this?" and she'd yay or nay it. Pretty cool process.

Re: Project Simple Green - Lucille - 1967 C10 Porterbuilt/AccuAir

Front Bag Installation:

Just remove the u-bolts holding the inner shaft of the lower control arm, made it really easy.

Go ahead and remove the lower bump stops, they will contact the bag! Got them off pretty easily with the air chisel after drilling the spot welds.

Shock mounted:

Front Aired Out:

Ready to go get the exhaust on!

****'s a mess in these pics, but should give you an idea. They are Hedman Headers, can get the part number if needed. The driver's side contacted the frame and required some massaging of the frame (Photos 1 and 2). The passenger side flange had to be cut due to contact with the crossmember (Photo 3).Bottom line is that i love the look of them, aged instantly and the metal tag/label on them is awesome looking. They sound great as well.
