What drew you to the 67-72 Chevy/GMC Trucks?

As I am reading the threads on how you all found your first truck...now the question arises...what drew you to the 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks in the first place? I bought mine because I think it's is a classic design, plenty of parts trucks avaliable, plus a lot of great vendors who supply parts and information about these trucks. But it all comes down to the fact that I believe these are flat out the best looking trucks of their time period.
