and the seller originaly posted " 1-piece window and power window motors" i assumed there would be some negotiating here since the seller withdrew the power window motors !!! By the way seller i am not griping at you i am discussing this with whoever has a problem with making you an offer !

As I see it, what you are doing with the continuous "haggling" is in effect bidding. You started out low-balling and have increased your offer with each post. Is that not bidding? It may not be against another buyer, but it seems kind of like "searching for the reserve"?

While I am sure more of this goes on than we can possibly keep track of, it is none-the-less outside the spirint of the rules. It is "arguing or debating the listed price", which is (as stated) against the rules.

A comment like "If no one else wants it, I will pay XXX" and then just leave it alone, would be OK. This case was quite a bit more than that.

No, you did not get in trouble, no infractions were issued. I posted a reminder in the thread as to the rules.

There was no negotiating as it takes two to do that, it was just you making offers that seemed to be getting ignored by OP. I figured you just didn't know the rules, and you weren't blatantly trying to break them. Way to freak out though.
