This turd is getting a turbo in the next month or so if I can find the time. Neighbor down the street has a 66 c10, I never looked twice at them till I was around his, Now i might like them more than 67-72s. Looking good man, keep up the good work, let me know how that moser works out. |

Re: Another turbo ls
This is my 31x12x3 intercooler - sliced the vertical parts of the rad supports to fit the ends, but it will fit behind an un-cut '61 grill.

Re: Another turbo ls
I had a little time today to start mocking up the new FSP log manifold and 4" down pipe. Kinda glad things are going slow, this is a much nicer setup. |

Re: Another turbo ls
I do not have turbo on my LS but i do have the Holly Wire system. All in except for a few hard wires. From what i have heard it is a great system.

Re: Another turbo ls
I'd like to see a 3/16" or 1/4" thick ring at the bottom of the old spring pocket to spread the load of the coilover mount over such thin sheet metal.

Re: Another turbo ls
Absolutely.
But also..... for how long? You don't have to do any of it, but from an engineering standpoint, that's a lot of point load on a relatively small surface area.

That pic doesn't show good enough but mount on the coil over is actually wider then the flat surface of the control arm therefore distributing the weight across the old spring pocket |
