I think I would say the stripes look "awesome". Huge fan of the "dare to be different" approach.

I made a 3/4T shortbed (by shortening the frame/bed)....let me tell you that a 3/4T leaf spring truck has a rough ride!

I switched it over to 1/2T now

Depends on who THEY are. This guy bought a nice original BB 3/4 ton from us and he cut the frame and cut down the bed.

for the record, I didn't mean the stripes are funny looking, I ment is causes an optical dilusion that makes the wheelbase look funny.
