I'm not sure. What do I have? what's convention? I thought CST meant custom. If not, what does CST stand for? Comon "67 Guru" let me know. Cause seriously it'd be good to know. My sig may be wrong.

CST means ''Custom Sport Truck" and custom comfort and convention is for the custom cab trucks, well they really mean what they are called is has the ''custom''comfort and the custom ''convention'' or other wise known as appereance so that means wite gets replaced with chrome, and better seats

Is it white? We noticed the white is turning yellow on the prius. Ya they use the Dmax for everything the requires any work whats so ever, the ford is just her truck for random crap which is ok to my father because he hated not having his truck when she needed it. Before that he had a 04 GMC Sierra 1500 and he bought it at 40,000 and when they sold it it had around 140,000 and they only had a few simple problems with it and we abused that thing the reason he went to a diesel was because hauling 10,000lb with the GMC started sucking because he did it a lot. It never broke down on him though.

Got my wheels in today. When we get some nicer weather I'll try and put one on and see how they fit, and take a pic! They look awesome!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Well finally got outside with some good weather and mounted one of the wheels on the front of the truck! They look awesome! What do you all think?!
They're 8.5x15 inch with 3.5" back spacing. I tried to show different views so you can get an idea. Trying to decide what size tire to put on 'em. Any ideas?

Stock for now, later down the road when I do a complete frame off it'll get a drop or bagged. Just wanting to enjoy it right now before I tear into it!

An option in 1967. '67's originally had small back windows unless the bigger window was optioned on the truck. They called it a panoramic cab. Yeah, I had to learn too! And welcome to the site!

Thanks! Glad to see ya dropped by!
Still needing cash for a battery so as soon as I get that, hopefully it'll be running again. Until then I hope to get my tires also and run a new hot wire to the HEI and make sure I got it timed right, or as close as possible. I'll try and keep you all up to date!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Well, did a lil' work on it today. Ran a new wire to the HEI, only to read on a forum today that I should run a bigger gauge wire and that you can trace the wire to the wiring block on the firewall and plug into it for a cleaner install. Still haven't got my battery yet. Short on spare cash and buying a new tractor probably didn't help that, but we needed it.

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

My parents finally got a tractor for there acherage a few years back and ill tell you what that is the best for snow removal and dirt work, whats funny is they ordered a heated cab on it and then when they got it the tractor also had A/C, the dealer just gave that option to them free of charge so now in the summer when its hot as heck they can be in a nice cool tractor, lazy huh

Do you have a bucket for it?

Not yet. Another $4,000 and I could have one. That's a lot of truck parts! But I will get one soon, as soon as my finish mower and four wheeler are paid off.
SLOWLY BUT SURELY

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Ansell is the brand. They're a thin black material dipped in a gripper typer gray rubber. They're great for auto work. Not sure where to get them. I bring them home from work (shhhh! don't tell!). They're just my old ones that are worn out, so I bring 'em home for use around the house and truck.
