As soon as I typed it I remembered the 400 crank you put in it. I'm seriously thinking about putting a 383 in mine too

I know!!!! I wish I could be there when they are running this thing up to 6k or so. John said the exhaust sounds freakin amazing. That's 2.5" the the "Y" and the 3" thru the crossmember. They ended up putting a super 40 and turning it out in front of the passenger side tire.

He told me they did the exhaust like this on another truck that had straight dual with no crosspipe or x-pipe and gain 70 ftlbs. I hope it works!!!

Ok, here is the latest. They did the final tune this morning. Almost 370 ftlbs at the rear wheels. Greg, the shop owner actually did the carb tuning and he told me this morning he ran it up to 6500 and the torque started to plateau there. They were gonna take it just a little more on RPM's and call it good. It starts to make gobs of torq at 1800 and continues for another 3500 rpm's or so. Right where you want it!!!! They just have to evac the A/C and recharge it. Going to get in in the morning.
