uh, its a completely different setup




you can very easily put a 73-91 axle in the front as they ALL have disc's

This should be a very easy swap. One route would be to get parts from a donor. Tear off all parts from the king pins out, including the stub axle.
Another method would be to replace ANY front axle assembly from a 73 to 91 truck, blazer, or surburban. You will have choices of the GM Corporate 10-Bolt, Dana-44, or even a Dana-60, but watch your gear ratios, they're typically 3.73:1 ratios, but some do have a 3.54:1 ratio, as well as a 4.10:1 ratio.
