Re: Our trucks have a NASCAR style rear suspension!

I just bought a set for my 72 I''m restoring, I had to do some cutting and welding but these are a nice piece now. I also made some bushing for these but I don't have much $ in these at all!

wow I thought this thread died twice. At least the latest revival had more than an incomplete thought to post.

those arms look nice.

so this is why when I let go of my steering wheel my truck turns left!

You may have just the holes in the cross member where the control arm brackets attach.

Re: Our trucks have a NASCAR style rear suspension!

I get a kick out of revived threads...the cool thing is I can remember reading this thread at the time. It was the first time I'd heard trailing arms were used in NASCAR.

Those trailing arms look great. Nice job. It's a great feature of this website that all threads remain, making it truly the greatest resource on the web.

11 years, 6 months, 20 days...but may not qualify as the record having been revived twice before, we will have to go to the judges on that.

I was impressed by that as well. The archives on this site are amazing to say the least. It sure helps prevent re-inventing the wheel.
