Re: Got my 20's on tonight
Frank you just stepped out of the Minor Leagues, and leaped in to the Big League. This is the look you have been seeking, and you nailed it.
Now you have a truck that should appeal to just about anyone. It's clean crisp factory lines are unaltered, and truly enhanced by the classic five spoke design of the wheel. The stance is spot on with enough drop to accent the larger size wheels without being excessive. You have just surpassed all of your previous attempts by a quantum leap...

Actually Frank and I have talked quite a bit as he has progressed through his different truck/wheel combos. I knew that this is the set up he wanted, he just had to realize it himself.

Re: Got my 20's on tonight
Holy Cow Frank!!!!! That is awesome!!! Well that decides it for me! 20" and your setup is what I'm going for! That and now I need to look for a older SWB too. That chrome trim on that black truck just pops with those wheels! Congratulations on another fantastic amazing looking truck! Now you need to come up to Oklahoma so we can see it in person.

Hey Frank and Ken,
If you two don't live too far away, I think your two trucks have awesome potential for a photo shoot.

Re: Got my 20's on tonight
I have had some questions about the specs . I used Western Chassis 2.5 drop spindles and "sopposedly" 1 inch drop coils . The coils were cheap off Ebay . New but not 1 inch so I do not know what the exact drop is . I am guessing 4.5-5 in the front . The rear is a 5 inch drop .I used 4 inch drop leafs and one more inch with shackles . I still have one more inch in the rear I can use but 5 inches seems about the right ride height . The wheels are Intro Vistas with the suede option . 20x8.5 front with 5.75 backspace and 20x10 rear with 5.25 backspace . Tires are Toyo Proxes 2 in 255/40/20 front and 295/40/20 rear . I can still bolt on all of the original suspension if I wanted to go back staoc but I dont think that will happen since I like the look and ride that it has now . I am glad I went with the 20's . Like Ken stated above , I have been moving towards the bigger wheels in baby steps but finally got there . I should have went straight there so if you are like me and considering bigger wheels , go with the 20's .
Frank
