Re: JunkYard Thread

Sweet70,
Can you hook a brotha up on that luggage rack on the burb? I'll pay you gas and time if you will find out if it's in good condition, and ship it back for me. I called them, but never heard back from them.

Re: JunkYard Thread

It's about 2 1/2 hours from me. I have accually been thinlking about heading back there in a month or so. We were there for about 5 hours and there were some parts of the yard we didn't make it into.

If they get back with you let me know and I can possibly pick it up for you when I go. I had ask them about something a year ago and it took a few phone calls and emails to get an answer.

holy crap, I spy(what I think is) the back of what looks like an american lefrance or seagrave firetruck... that thing is soooo damn cool.
did ya get to see what it is? any idea??

there's a shop down here they had two old firetrucks, one AF, don't know the other(maybe a ferd). they chopped them up, used only the very front of both and turned it into one of those parade cars that looks like a wind up toy. two front ends, complete with 'metal wind up key' on one end. they scrapped the rest of the parts... and now there's some other old iron in their yard, I can't imagine what they are doing next! (I think it was a shame to chop them up like that...)

And the COEs, one day I'll have a COE.... drool.
nice boneyard....

Re: JunkYard Thread

That was the only firetruck I remember seeing.
That is a gas tanker. There wasn't a cab or frame with it tho.
