thats great that its a good product, ive just gotten the tkx into the.shop and checking it out it is legit! dry shifted it to make sure it went into gear alright and man it is the nicest shifting transmission ive laid hands on. this mid shift should be just as good!

Re: tremec tkx into 1972 c10?

Late update. i figured you guys would like to hear the progress ive made on the tkx swap. its been going well, other than crashing my skull through the bellhousing getting the runnout right. ive managed to get it within .0035, within tolerance. today I've been fiddling around with my shifter handle getting it all ironed out to how i like it. Ive been test shifting it alot, does anyone know if this actually causes damage?

Yeah, its addicting to shift it . ill lay off of dry shifting until i add oil to er. super excited to get this thing on the road. time to fab up a crossmember and shorten my previously shortened two piece. shortened it the first time with no vibrations going 75, heres hoping for the second time .
