Re: finally stop to say hello.

So.........some updates... Nothing is done with the wood . Everything behind the cab got put on the back burner as of 7-20-19. I couldn't get stopped when a guy pulled out in front of me .[pic#1] I was able to locate a '67 front clip and have changed out my drivers door and added wheels/tires. On 9-15 [pic#2] I started tear down on my weekends (Sunday-Monday) Cleaned up some wiring and things while I could reach them. On 9-30 [pic#3] my Son in Law helped set the fenders on ,and later that day [pic#4] I took it for a drive . I drove it to work on the 3rd. I would have the hood on but out of three set of hinges I don't have one set I can use at his point. Today[pic#5] I got my bumper on and all the other little things buttoned up.

The lucky stiff...... I don't think my wife would ever buy me a truck. She might sell a couple for me though...

I woke up this morning to see "I moved"(this thread was in the welcome area). I started this thread when I first signed on. I used to be able to see if anyone was interested by my view count.

Looks like your view count is still there. Only thing is the counter hasn't been working correctly for some time, so it really doesn't tell you an accurate number anyway. You can bet it has received a lot of views though....

I did NOT get to drive it . I replaced the fuel pump added fresh fuel and changed the accelerator pump in the Holley carb ,got it running but needed to rebuild the carb 'cause it was poring fuel all over the place . The new owner said he would deal with that. I did clean it out and recovered the seat after replacing a few (11) broken springs and repairing 1. ...And as for painting the '35, if you're talking about the logo on the door . That is added in the paint program on my computer. Not really there.

I'm glad they finally stopped at your house. Looks great. They do a lot for it. It all comes together now. I too would like to own a '30s/'40s truck (or two) before I'm done
