I have a set that I took off of the truck in my avitar. I'll pull them down from the loft and see what they look like. They were clean. If they are still OK, I will try and get some pics loaded.

Yep...hard to find good ones. I looked for some time before buying the 72 style. I still wouldn't mind a good set of tripods when it's all said and done for the old work truck.

I think the 69-70 mirrors are a tab shorter than the 71-72 mirrors. If I am wrong others can correct me. But there are difference between these years.

I think that those are aftermarket mirrors. Look at the cross piece that comes off of the bipod. I tried a set of similiar aftermarket mirrors and they are completely worthless above 15 mph (they shake like crazy).

I hear you, the dangers of e-bay! I am not sure but that piece that I mentioned looks flat to me. The General's are round with flat ends.

How do these look? I have someone interested in these doors if it doesn't work out I would consider selling them separate. They are in excellent condition.

70CST, do you see the differences in those mirrors vs. the e-bay mirrors? Another thing that I didn't mention is the use of the acorn nuts on the oem mirrors.
