Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
This is funny, Now everybody will be on the hunt for them. I want a set and don't have a thing to put them on.
Keith, I would imagine you could easily get a $100 a pop, If a guy needs/wants them bad enough. |

The 15x8's are a dime a dozen around here. It's the 7 inch wide version that's hard to find.

Man that makes such a big difference in the way it looks.
And it's one less thing to do to the truck. Great job!! Why aren't there blue bowtie stickers. Gold is good, blue would be kick a**. |

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
Does anyone have a pic of a truck with the 7s up front and the 8s out back. I'd like to see the whole deal. I always thought these wheels were different. Thanks in advance!

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
A friend of mine ordered a new K5 in 1975 and these wheels came on it. It is the only set I have ever seen around here. He still has the Blazer.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
Looks really nice!
GM should have built them at this ride height! Also the 15x7's up front look perfect. I guess I'm biased. Ha.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

You have to remember that these wheels were used originally on the 73-87 trucks. (never on the 67-72 from the factory) That means that all the 2wd ralleys were 5-lug and all the 6-lug ralleys came on 4x4 equipped trucks. The 15x7 is just a rare wheel that most people don't know exist. When I bought these 4 at a local swap meet,... I did see two more on a truck for sale. WHen I pointed it out to the owner,... he had no idea. He said,..."I thought it had 15x8's all around". Not until I pointed out the difference, did he believe me.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
Nate- That looks awesome!! I think you have inspired me to go with the 4/6 ECE drop on my new project.
Not to hijack, but how rare are the rallye wheels in 15 x 7 in a 5-lug pattern, as opposed to the 6 lug pattern?

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
And when I was having my new exhaust installed, I had a set of 15x7's in the bed, and once I told the muffler shop owner what they were, he was even taken back.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels
The 5-lug version is not rare at all. Very common wheel.

Hey Chris,...
Jump in that truck and head to the Kansas Goodguy show this next weekend! Love your truck. I'll have a '72 Cheyenne Super of my own someday.
