Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s
Here is my '69. I have filled this thing with logs (big ones), ran through deep snow and the only thing that stops it is my lead foot blowing out the head gasket.
CG- I love those smaller type 'west coast' style mirrors. Does anyone know where i can get some?

Nice thread, with a lot of nice 8 lug 4x4ers! Mine will be the ugly one of the bunch I guess.

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s
My burb came with the west coast mirrors, and it spent most of it's life with them. I just remember my Dad always cussing at them, since they would move all the time and didn't have much field of view.
As soon as I got the burb, they were the first to go.

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s
WOW! Too many trucks since this morning to comment on all of them. Big and bigger is cool. Superchevy's was the first tonner. Mine will be once I get under it. I like them from brute to beaut (pronounced like Butte as in Montana ). 8-luggers rock!...and sand, snow, mud,as well as hiway.
Talk about trucks we wish we still had: And,talk about bigger boys:

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s
Thanks!
I did the majority of the restoration before digital camera's and personal computers, so the best I have to share is a few shots I took with a insta-matic 110 that I have scanned I've put them in my profile album if you want to see them. My restoration project has taken so long, that I bet it's one of the longest on here! I think I started in 1994, and I am still working on it... These burbs take a lot of time and money to restore, both of which have been very slim during my quest to get my baby looking good again. My family calls the burb my therapist, which is a pretty true statement for me.

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s
Love the 8 lug 4x4's. I think they might be my favorite configuration of our trucks. I go back and forth on a 2wd short bed hot rod, or a k20 4x4 as my favorite. I'd love to have one of each!

Ha ha,yeah,I hear ya. Check out my sig. I hoe to be rolling two and only two someday some. It doesn't get any better. Wait...yes it does. You can always get more. I had all that, had to sell off,and now a short/hot 2wd and an big/bad 8-lug 4wd will do me fine.

This is waht mine will look like when finished. I want some of the wide steelies like some of you have. They just look sexy on these trucks. They are really hard to find though.
