Mine's mostly orange but I do have blue wires (much brighter than the pic shows) and I think the contrast looks very cool.

i will be posting pics most likely tomorrow or the next day of the motor. . .it's been done for a few weeks but during the process my carb was hit and leaks out the fuel pump line thing. . .being rebuilt but truck is still at friends house. . .ugh

Here are some photos of my motor I just rebuilt, I replaced the valve covers with chrome one's that will be painted soon.... I painted it flat black (I used flat grill paint) I will get some photos with the chrome valve covers & air cleaner

Well it looks like I may be too late, but I painted my block/carb F*rd blue. Curse me if you like, but im really happy with it.

Hot tanked the carb, painted a few coats, and cleared it (all rattle can), curing in my mom's oven when she was out of town. lol

heh just the post i needed, i have the same dilemma. My fiance wants blue to match the truck, i want chevy orange, and not a ford color. I guess ill paint it the same as the other engine i built
