Who rechromed your hubcaps ? And I wonder if they could take a set of painted ones and chrome them ?

I am working on basically the same setup, only I am going with a 15x14 rear wheel. I am going to use a set of '68 hubcaps, chromed and color match the stripe to the body. I will be using trim rings also, The wider ones.

2.5-4 Replaced the springs. Sold it to a bud and we just did a disc brake front with drop spindles. looks the same now.

I love the deep steel wheels. Who makes them 10" wide that are 6 lug? Also where you guys finding your center caps? I've looked on ebay and craigslist with no luck.

Mine are the original hubcaps. I would check the for sale part of this forum. I see different one there all the time for sale.

Wow, now I know I'm old. My original wheels that came on the truck are cool now, lol.

I have the same issue with locating caps. I have a new set of repro I bought, even though the guy said they were original in his craigslist ad. Thin metal crap basically.

I've got my '71 steelies stacked in the shed.
