In my case yes. I have a wood bed, so that may make a difference. I ended up shaving the bottom of the bed and here in the next couple months I'm taking the bed off to do some other work and my plan is to grind off about 1/4 in off the edge that is closes to the bed

so has anybody use the 2" drop shackles on a stepside and did it hit the bottom of the bed and does auto zone .advance,or napa sell leafspring u bolts to fit a 2.25 leaf spring

Just Finish Lowering The Rear Of My Truck I Used The 2" Lowering Shackles And Remove The 3 Lower Leaf From My 8 Leaf Pack .the Height Was 6"from The Top Of The Wheel To The Fender Now Its 3"
