Best 'late model' seat of all time ?????

90-91 silverado seat , found it a bit to high , so I shortened the silverado brackets , 1" at front , 2" at the back (I think) to put the seat at a bit more of an angle. I'm 6'4" , comfortable. Also used the seat belts , but the tank needs to be out for the driver side belt to mount to the cab brace .

Putter did an article on the installation of a '98 Tahoe 2nd row seat. So, I bought one...in leather...for a buck twenty-five. Haven't installed it yet, but when I've sat on it...it's comfy. Gas tank won't be behind the seat, so room won't be an issue.

Here's my take on the seat deal. Style is sooooo subjective. In the '72, I put 90's cloth Camaro buckets and ran a stock square console.

For this recent build, we bought a newly refurbished 67-72 bench seat (pictured). But a friend gave me back these gray leather buckets
from an '04 Blazer. I asked you guys for some guidance as to which ones to run, then realized it was just simply a choice....What's the truck going
to be used for? What look am I after? Comfort...a must.

So, with the fact that it'll just be me and the Little Woman most of the time, the electric adjustments (the tank's still in the cab)
for forward/back/up/down/lumbar, and the fact that they were free from a Bro, I'm running the buckets. For now.

Point: Seats, along with so many other features, are way too personal a choice to ever be "right" or "wrong". If someone emphatically says otherwise,
then they are stuffing "their" opinions where they don't belong.

And, one more thing: Anyone that has half the skills 98% of the folks on this Forum have, can make 90% of all automotive seats fit nicely in our cabs.

I'll take a pic when I can ,just a little busy driving the wheels off it!. Seriously , not much to see, just position the outer belt so that you can drill a 1/2 hole thru the floor to catch the rear cab support.
