Nope that piece was crushed. I'll add a picture of the interior to clear a few things up. Sorry for not adding it earlier.

Would you be willing to cut the top windsheild frame out of it? I need that piece the make some patchs for my 71.also did that carpet kit survive or is it totally mangled?

If hinges are the parts that hold the tailgate up when opened and also latch the tail gate when closed. Those are the ones. I did'nt know what they are called I have seem them called differant things on this web site.
